The 2nd Amendment & Mental Health: Implications for the Mental Health Care Practitioner

Friday, April 10, 2013 | 5 PM | Fresno Campus Auditorium

This forum, held at Alliant-Fresno, will be led by Dean of the California School of Forensic Studies Eric Hickey and Director of Campus Services, Fresno Xavier Romano.

The discussion is intended to be a conversation that is fluid, engaging, respectful and thoughtful as the group discusses one of today’s most important and defining conversations. Light refreshments will be served courtesy of co-sponsor, the San Joaquin Valley Psychological Association.

In preparation for the event, listen to a call with Vice President Joe Biden held on March 27, 2013 discussing updates of on-going gun reform efforts in Congress. During the call, Biden made a request for funding to train 5,000 new mental health care practitioners.
