Psychology and Business in San Diego

Nestled between the beaches and mountains, the San Diego campus rests on the tree-lined hillside of Scripps Ranch. Conveniently situated just off Interstate-15, you can take a short drive to explore either the beach, downtown, or the mountains.
The expansive San Diego campus hosts several classroom buildings and the Walter library. It also boasts campus-wide Wi-Fi, two computer labs, video conference facilities, conference rooms, and scenic study areas. MA in Marital and Family Therapy
This COAMFTE-accredited master's program teaches students about the evolving practices and study of psychology in light of changing societal norms and views towards family and marriage. This ACBSP-accredited program teaches students about finance and accounting, and the analytical skills they need to succeed in the world of finance. The three-course program prepares graduates to succeed in a corporation, bank, or financial institution.
Doctor of Business Administration (DBA)
This is a doctoral program that focuses on collaborative research, quantitative analysis, and advanced statistics to give students an edge in the business world. The DBA program is focused and concentrated, and although you may choose to take longer, you can earn your doctoral degree or DBA in as few as three years. Executive-Style MBA with a Concentration in Hospitality Management
This MBA program is delivered in an executive style that includes one year of study and two years of paid work at one of our partner hotels. Thanks to grants and an interest-free payment plan, the program is affordable for prospective students looking forward to studying and working in the USA. The program is offered at both the Los Angeles and San Diego campuses, and is taught in an executive format with online synchronous weekly classes plus in-person classes once per month*.

Dr. Allard is a licensed psychologist, and a well-known researcher and speaker. As the program director, Dr. Allard focuses her research on the effects of interpersonal trauma versus non-interpersonal trauma.
Dr. Allard has her board certification in clinical psychology from the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP). Prior to Alliant, she spent more than a decade acting as program director of the Military Sexual Trauma and Interpersonal Trauma Clinic and San Diego Advanced Fellowship in Women's Health at the Veteran's Affairs San Diego Healthcare System. She has written and co-authored several books, articles, and papers, and has been interviewed for her expertise on both television and radio.
A clinical psychologist that maintains both a private practice as well as a busy teaching schedule. Dr. Abascal teaches statistics, health psychology, and research methods.
For nearly two decades, she has been heavily involved in clinical and research work on a variety of health-related topics, including eating disorders, obesity, diabetes, and chronic disease prevention. As such, she has held roles with the Behavioral Diabetes Institute as well as the UCSD Eating Disorders Center, and the Rady Children’s Hospital.
