Bilingual Authorization Overview
Are you a teacher interested in using your bilingual language abilities to teach dual-language students? If you’re proficient in Spanish or Mandarin and you want to teach in a dual language immersion environment or bilingual classroom, this program provides you with the authorization needed to provide instruction to English learners.
The bilingual authorization has two pathways available for two types of candidates:
- Post-credential applicants must hold a valid single subject, multiple subject, or education specialist credential at the time of application.
