Online Teaching Degree & Education Programs

Whether you want to teach at an elementary school or you plan on becoming a school counselor, a teaching career can be an incredibly rewarding job. Starting in early childhood, young children are molded and shaped into the person they will become — partly by their educators — and there is a need for teachers and educators.

At Alliant International University, we’re proud to offer in-person and online education programs that prepare our future teachers for the next generation. Whether you already have your bachelor's degree and are seeking a teacher preparation program, or you are searching for a master's degree program revolving around education, we have a program that may be right for you. On Campus and Online Teaching Degrees At Alliant University

At Alliant University, we believe our teachers are the foundation of our future — and we give you that foundation to succeed. Whether you want to teach English or lead a classroom at a four-year college, we make it easy for you to find the certification program that's right for you.

Starting from early childhood, kids are greatly influenced by the teachers they interact with on a daily basis. Because that interaction is so important, we ensure our teacher preparation program helps future educators learn how to interact with students, prepare lesson plans, and structure courses. Along with teaching basics, we also give our students the tools to positively impact our future generation through education and guidance.

Before you sign up for education degree programs, it’s important to know that not all colleges with education programs are created equal. At Alliant University, our degrees in education are more than just book smarts — they’re meant to prepare hopeful students in their teaching career, and we make it our mission to get our students as prepared as possible before entering the workforce by providing hands-on experience. That’s why our California Teaching Credentials programs are approved by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC), one of the highest standards in the teaching profession. Along with in-person teaching, we also offer the flexibility of online learning, so our students can learn while on their own schedule. Our online master's degree program, graduate degree program, and teacher preparation programs are all CTC curriculum approved, so you know you are receiving a high quality education. With experienced faculty and challenging coursework, we’re able to give our graduate and undergraduate students the education they need to succeed as a future teacher.

Whether you plan on teaching English to non-English speaking students or you see yourself in front of a classroom at an elementary school, you’ll be able to find an in-person or online teaching degree program at Alliant University that suits your needs and gives you the confidence to help educate tomorrow’s leaders.
