Overview

The California School of Forensic Studies (CSFS) at Alliant International University offers education and training opportunities to support you at every stage of your career. Our master of science, forensic behavioral science; master of science, forensic leadership degree programs and advanced practice certificates support you in applying the latest, evidence-based practices to real world case studies and simulations. Graduates earn the competencies necessary to practice within the forensic fields, including within law enforcement, security, corrections, forensic psychology, forensic linguistics, trial consulting, and threat assessment and risk management. 

The CSFS doctorate in psychology, public policy, and law is designed for public and private health and safety professionals who have earned a master's degree or juris doctor from a regionally accredited institution and who want to enhance their skills and advance their careers or consultancies.

CSFS doctorate and master’s programs in forensics are offered online with two weekend residencies. Advanced practice certificates are fully online.

CSFS is where scholarship and practice come together to provide a comprehensive education in forensic studies.

CSFS is a proud partner of ILEETA. The goal of the partnership is on-going professional development and support of ILEETA membership. Through this partnership, ILEETA members also benefit from a 10% tuition savings and an application fee waiver when enrolling as a new Alliant student in our degree programs and advanced practice certificates.

Forensic Linguistic Intelligence (FLI)

CSFS and the United Kingdom-based Forensic Linguistic Intelligence (FLI) have partnered to offer premier forensic linguistic doctorate and master's concentrations, as well as an advanced practice forensic linguistics certificate. 

CSFS and FLI are also joining to create a premium database that will evaluate linguistic patterns associated with crime subtypes, extremism, and political discourse. The database will be accessible to students who seek to conduct research in this field, with restricted access to law enforcement and security professionals.

Many CSFS advanced practice certificates offer continuing education credit through the American Psychological Association.
