Position Overview

  Under the direct supervision of the Talent Development Manager, the Senior Coordinator coordinates and implements local and firm wide performance management programs for attorneys and staff,.  Supports Learning and Development initiatives as set forth by the Talent Development Manager.  Provides reports to management on employee performance to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Essential Functions

 
  • Coordinates the Performance Review Processes and acts as the point of contact for the full cycle of all review processes. Responds to inquiries, complaints, and concerns.  Researches issues and intitiate solutions with performance managers and attorneys;Works with the Local Talent Acquisition and Development teams and Performance Managers to achieve performance review completion; Supports efforts to ensure performance is aligned with orgaizational goals and strategies.
  • Maintains the performance management reporting process.  Audits and analyzes performance reports as requested.
  • Works with the HRIS team to manage the performance review software system. Regularly tests performance software system for proper functionality. Act as project coordinator for performance management software implementations.
  • Assists with the creation and facilitation of training on the performance management system for end users. May create content for end user technical guides on performance management systems;
  • Implement processes that improve the performance management system;
  • Supports Learning and Development intiatives.
  • Work on Special Projects in relation to Associate/Attorney and Staff development.;
  • Assist other Talent Developent team members;
  • Work overtime as required, in particular at month end and year end;
  • Handle additional related projects as assigned.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Fundamental proficiency in Performance Management systems (SuccessFactors/SAP)
  • Fundamental knowledge of Performance review/management best practices;
  • Fundemental knowledge of Learning and development concepts;
  • Fundemental knowledge of Coaching concepts;
  • Written and verbal communication skills;
  • Client service excellence skills;
  • Effective presentation skills and Project management;
   

Qualifications

 
  • Bachelor’s Degree program or equivalent experience;
  • At least 3 years experience performing similar tasks and functions in a corporate or professional services environment.
