Assistant Director of Clinical Services, Research and Evaluation

The College of William & Mary Counseling Center invites applicants for the position of Assistant Director of Clinical Services, Research and Evaluation (12 month continuing appointment).  This position is a part of the management team of the Counseling Center and is responsible for the primary oversight of the day to day clinical operations of the center as well as the after-hours on-call system. Responsibilities includes development and maintenance of agency policies and procedures along with the Director; communication with clinical and administrative staff regarding clinical service delivery needs; and maintenance of the Titanium clinical recordkeeping system and associated record requests in accordance with the law and ethics of the profession.  In addition this person is responsible for all local and national research, assessment, and quality assurance data collection in accordance with Institutional Review Board protocols. Responsibilities also include short-term individual psychotherapy, group therapy, crisis intervention services, supervision of graduate student trainees, consultation and outreach activities.  The position requires a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA accredited program.  Assistant Director must be licensed or eligible for immediate licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a psychologist. Candidates must have at least 5 years professional experience in a college or university counseling center.
