We are proud to announce that Alliant was awarded 2nd Place for the Leadership Excellence and Development (LEAD) Award for our Master of Arts in Organizational Psychology degree program, for the “Master’s Program with Emphasis on Leadership/Organizational Development” category. The annual LEAD Awards celebrate colleges/universities globally who provide excellent HR and leadership development programs at all levels. Winners were recognized at the 37th annual LEAD Awards on March 5th in Salt Lake City, as well as in the March Leadership Excellence Essentials ePublication that is distributed to over 500,000 HR executives monthly.

Organizational Psychology Degree Program Aims
In the graduate program, a close integration of classroom and hands-on experience through fieldwork prepares you for the following careers, among others, in business psychology and organizational psychology:

Throughout the IO psychology program curriculum, you'll gain valuable knowledge and skills to be an organizational psychologists and develop:

Courses in the organizational psychology graduate programs are offered in daytime, executive, online, evening, and condensed formats. IO psychology graduate students are able to access faculty expertise at different campuses, providing an option to take some courses at other locations.
Psychology students have access to all organizational psychology faculty across the Alliant system. The faculty, as both academics and practitioners, bring practical experience to their teaching and welcome the diverse experiences and perspectives of all graduate students. All faculty of the psychology program in the graduate school have earned doctoral degrees.
Practical Training for Organizational Psychologists
Field placement, internship, and capstone requirements, organizational consulting centers, and on-campus events provide students with opportunities to build relationships with businesses, professionals, and experts in the field of industrial organizational psychology.
Diversity and Cultural Competence
Issues related to globalization, multiculturalism, and diversity have always been integrated in the organizational psychology graduate programs.
