The need for leaders and innovators in the world of education is higher than ever before. Become one of these leaders and innovators with the Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Management Degree Program offered by the California School of Education (CSOE) at Alliant International University. Graduates of this program go on to become leaders of change in educational organizations and effective theorists of teaching so that they can guide the next generation of transformational educators.
And starting in 2019, we are offering a direct line from your Bachelor’s degree to your EdD in Educational Leadership and Management. This 3-to-4-year program is specifically designed to train you up past a master’s-level education and through your dissertation and to your doctoral degree.
Small Classes, Tailored Guidance
The dedication from, and interaction with, our faculty is imperative for success. So, we keep our classes small, which means you get big opportunities to connect with your instructor, classmates, and staff. From projects, research, and readings throughout your coursework, to the entire topic of your dissertation, you get guidance from those who have been there before, so you can get where you want to go.
As with all of Alliant’s programs, field training is paired with classroom learning. You will learn vital theories while also learning how to effectively direct finances, manage resources, and manage staff effectively—leaving you primed to lead in your career as soon as you take your first step off of the commencement stage.
Since you only need your bachelor’s to enter this program, it contains classes that will teach you the foundations of research, analysis, and writing that you will need for your dissertation, and that you would normally find in a master’s-level program.
“In my experience with Alliant it was very clear from the start that there was a commitment to education being the great equalizer—and so, I feel like I got tools through my learning at Alliant that are allowing me to become a better teacher and reach out to everyone in my classrooms.”
