Dr. Larry Buster Anders, age 91, passed away on March 3, 2015.  He was born on September 28, 1923 and grew up in Glendale, South Carolina surrounded by a large extended family and nurtured by his Cherokee Grandmother.   He served his country during World War II in the United States Army Air Force and 3rd Army.  After his service he went on to get his education and received a Bachelor of Science from Georgia State University, a MBA from the University of Chicago and his PHD in Psychology from William Lyon University.  He worked as a Vice President, business consultant, executive coach, psychologist, professor, and was the owner of the consulting firm Anders & Associates.

He taught Organization Development and Behavior at the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University, Fresno campus, formally retiring in late 2007 but continued interacting with students on their dissertations and as a guest over the last 7 years.  He was a past member of the National Organization Development Network, the American Psychological Association, the National Training Laboratories (NTL) in Bethel Maine, the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland and a board member of the Family Institute, Northwestern University.

He was an avid reader and a fabulous story teller, especially proud of his recently published book, An Inspirational Journey: In Search of Wholeness and Meaning, a memoir told as short stories that captures the heart, spirit and strength of a boy struggling to find meaning in his journey to adulthood.  Since retirement he actively participated in the Anthem Authors Club.

A memorial service will be held at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City, NV on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 8:40am followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00am at the Anthem Center Ballroom, Delaware Room, 2450 Hampton Road, Henderson, NV.  Family, colleagues, students and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at
