The Anxiety Treatment Center Presents Clint Malarchuk
On Thursday, April 30, Alliant Sacramento and the Anxiety Treatment Center will host guest speaker Clint Malarchuk. Clint is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender who played in the National Hockey League and suffered much of his life from debilitating OCD. Clint travels the Country sharing his story, struggles, and triumphs and has written several books about his life.
It is estimated that anxiety disorders affect more than 17 million Americans. These conditions, which are considered to be serious medical illnesses, require specialized treatment services. Extensive research in the past several years confirms that there are effective treatments that help decrease and even eliminate anxiety that previously may have been disabling. The Anxiety Treatment Center is dedicated to making this treatments available to the people who need them.
