Biography
Dr. Michael Pittman received his Ph.D. from Purdue University in Hospitality & Tourism Management in 2022. In addition to his faculty appointment, Dr. Pittman has accrued a decade of experience in various roles within the hospitality organizations including Disney, Darden, and P.F. Chang’s. Dr. Pittman’s research area is primarily within human resources management and organizational psychology seeking to understand (a) why people behave certain ways in the workplace and (b) how to utilize this information to encourage positive behavior and discourage negative behavior.
