The California School of Management and Leadership (CSML) at Alliant International University offers a PhD in Leadership program that helps prepare students for a globalized world. In today's interconnected society, leaders must have the skills and knowledge to navigate a diverse range of cultures and industries. The program equips students with the tools they need to succeed in in the current environment through a combination of coursework, research, and real-world experience.

One of the key components of the program is its focus on cross-cultural leadership. Students learn about the cultural differences that can affect leadership styles and strategies, and how to adapt to different cultural contexts. Students at Alliant can experience different cultures during their program because our diverse student body consists of international students from a variety of countries.

Another important aspect of the program is its emphasis on research. Students are encouraged to conduct research on topics that are relevant to the globalized world, such as cross-cultural management, international business, and global leadership. This research helps students to develop a deep understanding of the issues that leaders face today, and to develop innovative solutions to these challenges.

In addition to coursework and research, the program also offers opportunities for real-world experience. Through our signature ConsultEX program, students have the chance to provide consulting services to organizations that operate in a global arena, such as multinational corporations, international non-profit organizations, and government agencies. This gives them the chance to apply their passion for leadership and what they have learned in the classroom to real-world situations, and to gain valuable experience working with diverse teams.

The PhD in Leadership program at CSML prepares students for a globalized world by equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and experience they need to succeed as leaders in a diverse range of cultures and industries. With its focus on cross-cultural leadership, research, and real-world experience, the program provides students with a well-rounded education that will serve them well in their careers and help prepare them to be socially responsible leaders that can inspire others.
