Congratulations to Drs. Linna Wang and Erika Flores, faculty members in Alliant’s California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) in San Diego! They were awarded $11,998 from the California Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development’s (OSHPD) Healthcare Workforce Development Division to support the second Latino Healthcare Career Expo.

The purpose of the expo is to expose economically and educationally disadvantaged Latino middle and high school students and their families to the possibilities of pursuing a career in healthcare. This event aims to make a connection between educational requirements and healthcare professions. Partner organizations include Vista High School, Rancho Minerva Middle School, University of California San Diego Medical School, California State University San Marcos, and the United States Army.
