They were awarded $11,998 from the California Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development’s (OSHPD) Healthcare Workforce Development Division to support the second Latino Healthcare Career Expo.

The purpose of the expo is to expose economically and educationally disadvantaged Latino middle and high school students and their families to the possibilities of pursuing a career in healthcare. This event aims to make a connection between educational requirements and healthcare professions.
