Professional Information

Higher Education Professor, Finance Consultant and Author

Q: How did your Alliant experience prepare you for your career path?

A: The Alliant experience gave me both a theoretical and practical foundation for a teaching/research career. Learning the research methods was an awesome experience. I now apply the foundations in my research endeavors.

Q: What do you enjoy most about your work?

A: My work is intellectually stimulating. The enjoyable part is that I learn every day about finance and economics.

Q: What inspires you to make a positive difference in the world?

A: When I see my former students in the academia or corporate world, I am inspired to keep going in my profession.

Q: Share your advice for current students.

A: Socrates once said, "The more I learn, the more I learn how little I know." I encourage students to think outside the box and learn every day. Hard work pays off.
