Dr. Amy Ahlfeld (CSPP-San Diego Clinical PsyD ’09), who is the current President of the Sacramento Valley Psychological Association (SVPA) spoke to our CSPP scholarship recipients at our CSPP Dean’s Reception in Sacramento on February 26. She shared her journey and encouraged them to become to advocate on behalf of their profession now by becoming involved in their local chapters as well as more broadly in the statewide California Psychological Association. She encouraged them to seize this opportunity to become the voice of psychology and become leaders in creating the new paradigm in which psychology and psychologists will practice.
