Dr. Mari McNamee (formerly Schmidt, CSPP-Fresno Clinical PhD, ’88) shares, "I am starting to wind down in my career as a psychologist at age 56. I graduated in 1988 from CSPP Fresno, it seems like yesterday of course. It's been a challenging, flexible and worthwhile way to spend much of my energy and time. At this point in time I'm enjoying my family, have developed interests in oil painting, dressage/equestrian activities, and yoga (like everyone else). I wish all the best for my classmates from CSPP and my many mentors, especially Dr. Marybeth Kenkle who was a life changer. All the best!”

She shared her journey and advised student on both upcoming opportunities and possible roadblocks, and provided her insights regarding how they can be more active in the community of psychologists both locally and statewide.

In a sense, it also reconfirmed the work I decided to pursue long ago--helping people and organizations realize their potential.”
