Steven Bucky, PhD, is a Founder, Distinguished Professor, and Director of Professional Training at the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University-San Diego. He is also the Chair of the Ethics Committee, has served as Chair of the AIU Faculty Senate, Executive Director of the Addictions Institute, and the Interim Systemwide Dean as well.
Dr. Bucky was on California Psychological Association's ("CPA") Board of Directors from 1996 to 2000, on CPA's Ethics Committee from 1990 to 1997 and 2012 to Present, and President of CPA in 1997. Dr. Bucky has published more than 60 papers, presented at major conventions and has edited three books. He is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association, the California Psychological Association, and of the San Diego Psychological Association.
Dr. Bucky also maintains a private practice that focuses on children, adolescents, families, substance abuse, forensics, and the assessment and treatment of professional and college athletes.
