About the San Diego Branch
In 2014, the Committee of Bar Examiners of The State Bar of California granted the San Francisco Law School approval to open a fully accredited campus in San Diego. The San Diego branch of the San Francisco Law School is housed in the Walter Library on the Alliant San Diego Campus at Scripps Ranch.
A Part-Time Law School
The San Diego branch of the San Francisco Law School offers a part-time, evening program. Similar to the main campus, courses at the San Diego branch are taught by a distinguished faculty of practicing professionals such as attorneys and judges. The San Diego branch follows the tradition of its parent school as a California-accredited opportunity law school that strives to infuse its substantive legal program with skills courses designed to maximize its graduates’ performance on the California bar exam.
One of the Most Affordable Law Schools in San Diego
Students at the San Diego branch of the main law school reap the benefit of having one of the most affordable tuition rates in the area – about half that of local ABA law schools. Students at the San Diego branch are also not required to take the First Year Law Students’ Examination.
