Alliant University is pleased to introduce the Occupational Therapy Futures Grant, which significantly reduces the cost of tuition to $24,960* for students who enroll in our inaugural MOT cohort in Spring 2026.

This grant supports aspiring occupational therapists by making your MOT more accessible and affordable. Our goal is to empower the next generation of OT leaders through both professional advancement and financial support.

About the OT Futures Grant


What is it?

The Occupational Therapy Futures Grant reduces the cost of tuition for the Alliant Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) program to $24,960*. The grant applies only to tuition and does not cover published fees or other program-related expenses.

How do I apply for it?

To be considered for the grant, submit an application for admission into the 2026 Spring Trimester MOT cohort at Alliant. We currently accept applications submitted through our application portal or through OTCAS. Once we receive your application, a member of our admissions team will contact you at the email address or phone number you provided and explain your next steps in the process.

How is it awarded?

Grant funding is subject to availability and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. A total of 20 grants are available. We strongly encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

How will I know if I receive the grant?

Eligible students who meet the grant criteria will receive an award letter prior to the program start date. The letter will outline the terms, conditions, and requirements for maintaining grant eligibility, and must be formally accepted by the student.

Who is eligible to be considered for the grant?

Applicants must be a new student applying to the Alliant MOT program. Eligible new students must meet all admission requirements, be fully admitted and confirmed, and begin the program in the Spring 2026 Trimester. Recipients must be enrolled full-time, remain continuously enrolled in the MOT program, and maintain good academic standing (defined as minimum GPA of 3.0) to maintain grant eligibility.

When does the Spring 2026 Trimester begin?

Classes begin on January 12, 2026.

How is the grant applied to my tuition?

Students who are awarded the grant will pay a reduced tuition rate of $312 per unit for the duration of the program. The grant award may be applied to program tuition only and is not applicable to published program fees.

Can I combine the grant with other Alliant scholarships?

This grant cannot be combined with Alliant tuition waivers or other Alliant-issued scholarships.
