MBA- Executive Instructional Schedule Overview

The MBA- Executive instructional schedule is an on-ground program approved by WASC. Students engage in practical training throughout the program in addition to the on-ground course curriculum in order to apply the knowledge and skills they attain in the classroom to the real world. Practical training is defined as an approved work experience that is an integral part of the MBA program and is directly related to your major area of study. You can complete the required professional practice hours by working on either a practical project, a client project, or in an internship. Practical training can be part-time (20 hours or less a week) or full-time (more than 20 hours a week), and may be paid or unpaid.

If you’re an international student interested in the program, visit the International Student Services Office (ISSO) web page and learn more about Curricular Practical Training (CPT) by visiting our catalog, and our website

MBA- Executive Instructional Schedule cohort is a closed cohort and students cannot transfer into this closed cohort after starting in any other MBA cohort. Students in this track will go through a rigorous admission process assessing their fit for the track. Students in the cohort start the program from the beginning of the first term and complete the full program’s curriculum to be eligible to join the cohort. Students may not transfer into this program once courses have begun.

Class schedule: For each course, students attend two full days of intensive, in-person, ground classes, for a total of 24 hours. In addition, 21 hours of classroom activities with the course instructor are completed remotely for each course. This schedule is repeated throughout the entire program for each course in the MBA curriculum. Each course is scheduled over an 8-week Term academic session.
