Biography
Suzie Lam brings a wealth of educational experience and a deep commitment to student success to her role as Academic Counselor at the Evergreen School District. Originally from San Jose, CA, Suzie pursued her academic journey at UC Davis, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
Driven by a passion for educational equity and student advocacy, Suzie continued her education with dual Master’s degrees: a Master of Arts in Urban Education, Policy, and Administration, and a Master of Science in Educational Counseling. These degrees equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of educational systems and effective counseling strategies.
Suzie’s career in education spans over a decade, beginning with classroom teaching and evolving into various administrative roles within educational institutions. Her diverse experience culminated in her current role as a dedicated counselor, where she spends her time supporting students in navigating academic challenges and personal growth.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Suzie remains deeply rooted in her community and continues to draw inspiration from her upbringing in San Jose. She is committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment that empowers students to achieve their full potential.
