Biography
Sandra holds a B.A. in Public Health Sciences and an M.A. in Teaching Secondary Science from the University of California, Irvine, as well as an M.A. in Counseling from Concordia University, Irvine. With a career spanning nearly two decades in education and mental health, Sandra brings 11 years of experience in secondary science education and six years of dedicated service as a middle school counselor.
An experienced educator and leader, Sandra has served as an EdTech Specialist, Science Department Chair, and Professional Learning Community (PLC) Facilitator, driving instructional excellence and collaborative growth. As an adjunct faculty member with Alliant University, Sandra taught specialized coursework in Crisis and Trauma Counseling, School Safety and Crisis Prevention, Child Development and Learning Environments, and Educational Research.
Sandra is committed to student wellness and academic achievement, leveraging their diverse background in counseling, and educational leadership to support students, staff, and future school counselors.
