Ryan Hicks

Biography

Ryan Hicks, M.Ed. is an educational leader and school counselor with over 16 years of experience. He currently serves as a elementary counselor, where he leads equity-focused initiatives, MTSS and PBIS implementation, attendance improvement efforts, and crisis response supports. Ryan also coordinates 504 services, facilitates social-emotional learning across grades K–5, and collaborates with site and district leadership to strengthen school climate and student belonging.

Ryan holds a Master’s degree in Education and Counseling with a Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from San Diego State University. He is currently completing his Preliminary Administrative Services Credential and is committed to fostering safe, inclusive, and high-achieving school environments where all students feel seen, supported, and challenged.
