Dr. Johnson's clinical training, experience, and interests surround a wide range of areas including chronic pain, PTSD, health psychology, and assessment validity. He has worked with active duty and veteran military populations in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and he maintains an active private practice assessing adolescents and adults.
Dr. Johnson is drawn to research projects that have real world applications aiming to improve patient access and improved efficiency within our current and evolving healthcare model. Additionally, he is interested in further evaluating the use of robust and psychometrically sound assessment measures to aid in treatment planning and predicting patient outcomes for various evidence-based protocols.
