Biography

Juliana Caro, Psy.D. (she/her/ella) earned her BS in Criminal Justice – Forensic Psychology from St. John’s University, her MA in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University – San Diego. She completed her predoctoral training at NYU Langone-Bellevue's Clinical Psychology Internship Program's Forensic Track. She has a wide range of clinical experiences including bilingual therapeutic intervention, psychological assessment, and forensic evaluation across a variety of settings including civilian and forensic inpatient psychiatric units, outpatient behavioral health, juvenile detention, and criminal court.

Dr. Caro is a licensed psychologist and the clinical director at F.I.R.E. Igniting Lives Psychology where she is responsible for overseeing, leading, and managing the firm's training program, supervising and supporting team members, and conducting comprehensive evaluations, in both English and Spanish, for a variety of referral questions. She also provides bilingual psychotherapeutic services guided by evidence-based practices. Dr. Caro is an Adjunct Professor in the Clinical Psychology Psy.D. and Ph.D. programs at the California School of Professional Psychology, Alliant International University – San Diego.
