Biography

Dr. Felicia Wilson, LCSW is an Associate Professor in the online Master of Social Work program at Alliant International University.  Dr. Wilson received her doctoral degree in human services Master of Social Work degree, Master of Business Administration, and Bachelor of Social Work degree. She is a licensed master social worker in the state of Georgia. She also holds a certificate in Contemporary Theory in Addictive Behavior and is a Certified Professional Life Coach. Prior to joining academia Dr. Wilson worked as an assistant administrator/director of social services in a long-term care facility, as a therapist with abused children who were victims of sexual exploitation, as a director of customer services with a healthcare technology company, and a home care agency social worker. Her research interests include family caregiving, caregiver burnout, job burnout antecedents, and prevention.
