Alice Davis
Biography

Dr. Alice Davis is a certified Nurse Practitioner who has cared for patients as an independent practitioner and prescriber across the lifespan in rural primary care and urban acute care settings for over 30 years. She has developed and implemented graduate nursing programs (master's and doctoral level) in acute care and primary care.

She is currently the Graduate Program Coordinator at New Mexico Highlands University, where she is responsible for program implementation while also teaching graduate nurse practitioner courses.

Dr. Davis has over 50 publications in journals and textbooks in neuroscience, trauma, and critical care nursing. She has served on national nursing boards (American Association of Critical Care Nurses and American Association of Neuroscience Nurses), editorial boards, and review boards for trauma and critical care nursing journals. She has received funding from NIH and various universities and nursing organizations for her work in brain injury and critical care.
