Graduate Admissions

Start by creating your Alliant application account in just a few clicks via our online portal. This lets you save your progress as you gather and input your information at your pace. To simplify the process further, Alliant has discontinued its application fee.

Because each graduate program differs in when and how often they start classes, contact an Admissions Counselor to confirm the next available start date of the program you’re interested in.

When you create your application account and connect with an Alliant Admissions Counselor, they’ll walk you through your Readiness Assessment, which summarizes the admissions requirements for your desired program, including any documents you need to provide.

Alliant requires you to provide transcripts from every college or university you’ve attended as part of your application.

There are two kinds of transcripts. While they include the same academic information, there are key differences between them:

• You can upload unofficial transcripts directly to the portal to accelerate your admissions decision. While they lack formal authentication and security features, they are also easier to access (and often free).
• Official transcripts are certified by the institution you attended and include the school’s seal, registrar’s signature, and other authenticity and security features. Schools typically send these directly to Alliant at your request.
