Alliant Celebrates 2015 Graduates

This May, we join the graduating students in celebrating their achievements during Alliant International University’s 2015 Commencement ceremonies. Over 750 undergraduate and graduate students representing more than 20 countries will enjoy this opportunity to share their accomplishments with family, friends and faculty members. Graduates will receive bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in psychology, criminology, education, management and law.

Commencement Information

San Diego

Commencement for San Diego is scheduled for Friday, May 22, 2015 at the San Diego Civic Theater. A total of 342 bachelor's, master's and doctoral students will be graduating. The commencement address will be presented by Maria de los Remedios Gómez Arnau, Counsul General of Mexico, San Diego.

The San Diego celebration will continue a long-held tradition by featuring “Voices of Diversity.” Four of our graduates will read a passage from Alliant’s mission statement in their native languages: English, Spanish, Chinese and French.

Eighteen students that received outstanding degree awards will be recognized by the California School of Forensic Studies, the California School of Education, the California School of Management & Leadership and the California School of Professional Psychology. The Dorothy L. Harris Award for Women, the F. Joseph McGuigan Research Award and the James Chipps Memorial Scholarship will also be given.

Los Angeles & Irvine

The Los Angeles/Irvine celebration is scheduled for Sunday, June 7, 2015 at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. A total of 160 bachelor's, master's and doctoral students will be graduating. The commencement address will be presented by Rhonda Brinkley-Kennedy, PsyD, MFT.

This commencement ceremony will also be featuring a "Voices of Diversity" presentation with English, Albanian, Arabic, Armenian, Farsi, Mandarin, Russian, Spanish and Vietnamese being represented.

Fresno

Commencement for Fresno is scheduled for Friday, May 29, 2015 at Saroyan Theater, part of the Fresno Convention Center.  A total of 65 master's and doctoral students will be graduating.

San Francisco & Sacramento

Commencement for San Francisco and Sacramento is scheduled for Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the Craneway Pavilion.
