Study Criminology or Criminal Justice at CSFS

The California School of Forensic Studies (CSFS) is dedicated to providing high-quality education and training in applied criminology and criminal justice. At the heart of each of our programs is a focus on combining classroom learning with practice in the

field. This focus makes our school--and our graduates--unique. Upon graduation, CSFS students are ready to put their education into action and prepared to quickly advance in their field.

At CSFS, students have a chance to work with experienced faculty coming from backgrounds such as law enforcement, forensic assessment, criminal profiling, neuropsychology and many others. They are dedicated to our students and committed to their success.

CSFS Doctoral Student, Patricia Jones

Doctoral Student Patricia Jones, of Alliant's California School of Forensic Studies (CSFS), has been integral in efforts by the Juvenile Arson and Explosive Research and Intervention Center (JAERIC) at the Burn Institute in San Diego to analyze research data to determine juvenile fire-setting trends on a larger scale and gain insights from it. She received the First Place Award of Excellence from the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), Pacific Division. Read more...

CSFS Faculty, Glen Lipson, Ph.D., A.B.P.P.

As a forensic and clinical psychologist, Dr. Lipson has consulted with schools for over two decades in employment matters, in violence prevention, work place harassment and bullying. Lipson is a partner in Making Right Choices (www.makingrightchoices.com) and for the past three years has worked collaboratively in the creation of an online training program to prevent sexual misconduct.
