Crying Therapists: Alumna Interviewed on BBC World Service about Dissertation Results Published in Journal of Psychotherapy

Amy Blume-Marcovici was interviewed by the BBC World Service about her dissertation research on therapists crying on their program Health Check.

Blume-Marcovici, an alumna of our clinical psychology PsyD program in San Diego, developed  an in-depth survey of clinical psychologists and trainees which found that almost three quarters of them had cried at some point during therapy and some cried several times a week. The dissertation results were also published in the journal Psychotherapy.
