CSPP Alumna to Hold Trauma Resiliency Lecture in the LA Area

Join California School of Professional Psychology Alumna Dr. Susann Bauman, president of The Center for the Study of Women’s Psychology, for a special event held at her home in Los Angeles, CA (Brentwood area) on Saturday, June 15, 2013.

The lecture, “Trauma Resiliency Model: A Mind-Body Approach to Treating Trauma,” features Elaine Miller-Karas, LCSW, executive director and co-founder of the Trauma Resource Institute, a non-profit corporation. Her work has taken her to Haiti, Kenya, Thailand, China and many places within the U.S. following natural and man-made disasters. Most recently, she was helping in the aftermath of the Boston Marathon bombings.

Registration and a continental breakfast will be held from 9:00-9:30 a.m. and the workshop will be from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Three CEUs are offered for a cost of $60. For more information, or to RSVP, email CSPPalumni@alliant.edu.
