Alliant Selected for 2015 HEED Award

We are proud to announce that Alliant International University has received the 2015 Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) award from INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine–the university’s fourth consecutive year as a recipient.

The HEED award is the only national award recognizing U.S. colleges and universities that demonstrate an outstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion. As a recipient of the annual award, Alliant will be featured along with other selected recipients in INSIGHT Into Diversity’s September 2015 issue.

Alliant was selected for this award based on the university’s exemplary diversity and inclusion initiatives and ability to embrace a broad definition of diversity on campus, including gender, race, ethnicity, veterans, people with disabilities and members of the LGBT community. We have a long-standing record of diversity and are regularly recognized for it. Alliant has also repeatedly been recognized as a Military Friendly School and as a Top 100 Producer of Minority Graduate Degrees.

We are extremely proud of the work that all of our students, faculty, staff and community have done to make Alliant an institution that celebrates diversity.
