Arizona Elementary Teacher Certification Program

Arizona Alternative Teacher Certification in Elementary Education Recommendation. If you want to become an elementary school teacher in Arizona, this ASBE-approved teacher preparation program prepares you to teach grades pre-K–8 within the state of Arizona.

Arizona Secondary Teacher Certification Program

Arizona Alternative Teacher Certification in Secondary Education Recommendation. If you want to become a middle school or high school teacher in Arizona, this ASBE-approved teacher preparation program prepares you to become a teacher in any 6–12 grade classroom within the state of Arizona.

Master of Arts in Education (MAE) in Teaching 

Students in either Arizona teacher preparation program can concurrently earn their Master’s degree in teaching with only three more courses.

Courses are taught online, with hands-on experience and video simulations, all leading to a rewarding teaching career in Arizona.

ASBE-Approved Curriculum

Programs are Arizona State Board of Education-approved, leading to an elementary and secondary school teacher certification in Arizona.

Learn and Earn

As a candidate in the program, if you’re enrolled as an intern, you can also keep or enter into a full-time contract with a school as Teacher of Record.

All Bachelor’s Degrees Welcome 

If you have a bachelor’s degree from a regionally-accredited institution, in any subject, you will fulfill this admissions requirement.

Classes Starting Every Eight Weeks

You can enroll in this program at any point in the year; qualified applicants are accepted every eight weeks.

Fast and Focused

The program typically takes 12 months for certification, and an additional two terms for certification and master’s degree.

Advance Your Degree with a Master’s Degree Option

Not only is this an accelerated, graduate-level program, you can also earn your MAE with only three additional classes. 

Professional Development 

Alliant’s no-cost, In-Service Academy (ISA) will support your ongoing professional development for two years after completing your program.
