Arizona Teaching Certifications
Preliminary Multiple-Subject Teaching Certificate Program Leading to an Alternative Teaching Certification in Elementary Education Recommendation. If you want to become an elementary school teacher in Arizona, this ASBE-approved teacher preparation program prepares you to teach grades 1–8 within the state of Arizona.
Preliminary Single-Subject Teaching Certificate Program Leading to an Alternative Teaching Certification in Secondary Education Recommendation. If you want to become a middle school or high school teacher in Arizona, this ASBE-approved teacher preparation program prepares you to become a teacher in any 6–12 grade classroom within the state of Arizona.
Master of Arts in Education (MAE) in Teaching
Students in both Arizona teacher preparation programs can concurrently earn their Master’s Degree in Teaching with only three more courses.

Fast and Focused
The program is designed with a time to completion of 12 months for certification, and a total of 16.5 months for certification and master’s degree.
Alliant’s no-cost, In-Service Academy (ISA) will support your ongoing professional development for two years after completing your program.

You can enroll in this program at any point in the year. Qualified applicants are accepted into the program every eight weeks.
