Sherri Sedler
Biography

Sherri has a B.A. in Child Development from Stanislaus State University, an M.A. in Counseling from Sacramento State University, and a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from California Southern University. She has over 26 years of experience as a counselor in elementary, middle and high school. She has taught Child Development & Learning Environments,  Leadership in Advocacy, Psychopathology and Psychopharmacology as an adjunct faculty member with Alliant University and has over ten years of experience as an adjunct faculty member with the University of Phoenix.  She has provided numerous workshops and trainings for children, teens, staff and mental health providers relative to trauma, crises response, suicide prevention and intervention along with a variety of topics to break the stigma of mental health.  She developed a countywide crises response protocol for Administrators, clinicians, counselors, school psychologists and staff/community members.  She sits on the Calaveras County Mental Health Board and is the co-owner of Metta Services, LLC providing consultation, collaboration and implementation of a variety of mental health services and supports for children, teens, adults and providers within her community.
