Madeleine Starin
Biography

Madeleine Starin, Psy.D. is an Assistant Professor at Alliant International University, San Diego in the Clinical Psychology, Psy.D. Program. She teaches a variety of assessment courses including self-report, the Rorschach Performance Assessment System and an advanced assessment elective with a forensic focus. Clinically, she conducts forensic psychological evaluations for use in court, provides expert testimony, and supervises Alliant students in this role. Evaluations include violence risk, sex-offense risk, standard psychological, mental health diversion, mitigation, 707, and competency. Research interests include multimethod assessment, R-PAS, forensic populations, trauma, complex developmental trauma, childhood adversity, at-risk youth, and alternative care for youth in the justice system.
