Biography
Dr. Jacqueline Florian, PhD, LMFT (ella/she) is an Assistant Professor for the Couple and Family Therapy program at Alliant International University, Los Angeles Campus. Her experiences as a bilingual therapist and second-generation Latina are interwoven with her research, clinical work, and supervision. She has extensive experience working with minoritized communities and immigrant families. Her supervision practices emphasizes the self-of-the-therapist work including how individuals’ identities become present in the therapy room.
