Practical Training/Executive Weekend MBA Track Overview
In this track, you’ll get day-one CPT, or practical training, throughout, no matter whether you’re a domestic or international student. Practical training is defined as an approved work experience that is an integral part of the MBA program and is directly related to your major area of study. In the practical training/executive-style track you’ll attend on-ground, in-person classes once a month for two to three days on weekdays or weekends. This schedule is repeated throughout the program. Practical training can be part-time (less than 20 hours a week) or full-time (more than 20 hours a week) and may be paid or unpaid.
If you’re an international student interested in the program, visit the Alliant Office of International Student Services (ISS) web page and learn more from our Curricular Practical Training (CPT) web page.
Class schedule: You’ll attend on-campus classes for two to three consecutive days each month. Remaining weeks you will attend synchronous Zoom class meetings. Each course lasts eight weeks.
