San Francisco Campus - Haight Street

Alliant’s San Francisco Law School campus is located in Hayes Valley, near Market and Octavia Streets. San Francisco Law School has a small and engaged population, under 100 students, who attend classes on the SFLS campus pursuing a Juris Doctorate degree (JD).

The student population at San Francisco Law School has a rich variety. The student body typically has a 46-50 % female/male ratio, of which 46-49% are diversity students, with ages ranging from 24 to 45.  

The 10,000 square foot campus includes 5 classrooms, a student lounge, a Law Library, and an administration area. All classrooms have Internet access and audio-visual capabilities. Academic Support sessions are available on Saturday morning during the Fall and Spring semesters. San Francisco Law School has incorporated Bar Skills courses into its curriculum with programs provided by BarBri.

The San Francisco Law School law library is available to students Monday through Saturday during class and office hours. The Law Library is accreditation compliant and the hard copy collection includes United States Supreme Court Cases, California Appellate and Supreme Court cases, annotated California Statutes, the full Witkin series, specialized Treaties, and other legal research and reference materials. Students and faculty at San Francisco Law School have access to comprehensive on-line legal materials provided by LexisNexis, which can also be utilized by the computers in the quiet, library setting.

Ms. Terri Conrad is San Francisco Law School’s primary administrator and is responsible for being the primary point of contact for new and continuing students to access a range of support services and resources such as the academic support program, student involvement in campus life, as well as Alliant’s health and wellness and career services.

San Francisco Law School, located in the Lower Haight - a subset of Hayes Valley, is near downtown San Francisco between Octavia and Gough Streets. Hayes Street is just a few blocks from the law school, and hosts several culturally diverse restaurants, art galleries and designer clothing stores. Civil Center, Davies Symphony Hall and the War Memorial Opera House are but a few minutes away and attract visitors from all over the world.

The Hayes Valley neighborhood offers all versions of transit options and freeway access could not be easier. The proximity to Market Street makes the area especially appealing to cyclists. The freeway exits onto tree-lined Octavia Boulevard, little park called Patricia's Green, and neighborhood gardening areas, which offer a peaceful respite in the midst of a very vibrant street scene. Victorian, Queen Anne, and Edwardian townhouses abound, along with the new high-rise development. The area offers a glimpse of old fashioned charm in the heart of a booming metropolis
