Dr. Shari Jacob, Ed.D. is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor for the state of California and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for the state of Florida. Dr. Jacob has an undergraduate degree in, Child Development / Minor in Psychology, Master degree in Mental Health Counseling, and a Doctoral degree in, Counselor Education and Supervision, CACREP Accredited program.
Dr. Jacob is an Assistant Professor for the MACC – Master of Clinical Counseling online program. In addition, Dr. Jacob has professional experience clinical work with: children and families, individual and group settings, and inpatient and outpatient psychotherapy services. Dr. Jacob has worked with students for clinical supervision as well as facilitating graduate coursework for online format. Dr. Jacob has presented her research at counseling conferences and published her dissertation, " What are the lived experiences of infant attachment of mothers who have survived childhood sexual abuse?" in 2019. Dr. Jacob is passionate and dedicated towards empowering students and clients within the community around the areas of wellness and achievement of their goals.
