Cristina Gomez is a fourth-year student in the CSPP Clinical Psychology PsyD program in Los Angeles, with an emphasis on multicultural community psychology. She completed her undergraduate work at University of La Verne before joining the CSPP community. She is currently preparing her doctoral project on the topic of attachment bonds between parent and child as a preventive for delinquency. Cristina was selected to receive the prestigious Marco Garcia Memorial Fellowship award, and had the opportunity to meet Mrs. Garcia at an event on the Los Angeles campus this fall. Cristina is currently working in a community clinic, with a focus on serving the Latino community, while pursuing a full-time APA internship for next year.
