The need for leaders and innovators in the world of education is greater than ever before. Become one of these leaders and innovators with the Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Management Degree Program offered by the California School of Education (CSOE) at Alliant International University. Graduates of this program go on to become agents of change in educational organizations and effective theorists prepared to guide the next generation of transformational educators.
Now, starting in 2019, CSOE is offering this program in a shorter, more specialized format that is designed specifically for those already in possession of a master’s degree. Our new EdD in Educational Leadership and Management now comes with two new specialization tracks in Social Justice Studies and K-12/Charter School Studies; and is only 46 credits long, removing almost a full year from your path to an EdD.
Specialized Education Tracks
The Social Justice Track is for those looking to mitigate the injustice of social paradigms and break down societal barriers; the K-12/Charter School Track is for those looking for a principalship and looking to build a better education for our nation’s students.
If you have already taken our Administrative Services Credential Program, you can reduce the coursework needed for this degree even further—from 46 to 34 credits. That means you can get the same quality education in just over 1 year, instead of about 3 years.
As with all of Alliant’s programs, field training is paired with classroom learning. You will learn vital theories while also gaining experience in effectively directing budgets and finances, allocating resources, and managing staff—preparing you to lead in your career as soon as you take your first step off of the commencement stage.
“In my experience with Alliant it was very clear from the start that there was a commitment to education being the great equalizer—and so, I feel like I got tools through my learning at Alliant that are allowing me to become a better teacher and reach out to everyone in my classrooms.”
