Our BS in Project Management degree program offers its graduates a rather sunny career outlook. With many of the graduates of this program going on to work in finance, health care, IT, and engineering, we see four fields that are all growing faster than the national average, and are expected to continue to outpace the 7% average growth rate well into the 2020’s. It is important to note, however, that the Bureau of Labor Statistics shows that many of the positions offered in these fields will require some prior experience, and that an internship while still in school—like those offered at Alliant—may prove invaluable in future career prospects.

Our courses are designed to provide an integrated and well-balanced theoretical- and practical-oriented approach to the study of project management both in the classroom and in a hands-on setting. The curriculum also places a strong emphasis on professional development and practical application of project management through a long-term capstone project and 100 hours internship experience.
