The Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management at CSML is an intensive and innovative degree program that fosters a strong foundation in hotel management, leadership, operations, and entrepreneurship. Through our partnership with Vatel School of Hospitality, students who are interested in a good academic foundation and practical experience in the hospitality industry will get it through this online degree program in Southern California.

Vatel Partnership

Our partnership with the Vatel School of Hospitality allows students to study with peers from around the world and get the chance to intern right here in the U.S with top-flight hotels.

3-year Program

Students who take full time courses each term will be able to complete the program in 3 years and start their OPT in their 4th year.

Integrated Training

Courses have integrated practical training, so students interested in year-round practicum can get it. The practicum courses provide experience in different areas of the hospitality industry such as hotel operations, food and beverage operations, supervision, and management.

Degree Information


Students in the BS in Hospitality Management program acquire a spectrum of knowledge and skills in hospitality management ranging from understanding food and beverage and guest service operations, to learning how to analyze a profit and loss, roll out a marketing strategy, organize a commercial event, and recruit a talented workforce.

With the bulk of our faculty actively working in the hospitality field, in addition to teaching others about the field, for many years, each and every student in the BS in Hospitality Management program is going to receive the best academic and personal-growth experience possible, so that they can become the next generation of professionals making an impact in the hospitality industry, and in their own communities.

Students acquire a spectrum of knowledge and skills in hospitality management ranging from understanding food and beverage and guest service operations, to learning how to analyze a profit and loss, roll out a marketing strategy, organize a commercial event, and recruit a talented workforce. With experienced faculty and small class sizes, students receive the individual support and preparation they need to turn their experience into expertise and achieve excellence.

Also, students in this program will take 3 Fast Track courses from the MBA program. If they decide to continue to the MBA program (with HM concentration or without HM concentration), they can transfer these 3 courses to the MBA program if they receive B or above in these 3 Fast Track courses.
