Under supervision of licensed psychologists, the Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) postdoctoral fellow will conduct brief individual therapy, crisis intervention, case management, group therapy, and primary prevention and outreach for university students. The fellow will attend regularly scheduled Clinical Case Conferences and CAPS staff meetings.
Candidates should have an interest in and knowledge of the developmental tasks facing college students, interest in working with diverse university students in brief therapy and crisis intervention, and a commitment to social justice and primary prevention.
General Track: Two (2) positions are available. The positions will focus on general clinical service delivery, including brief individual therapy, crisis intervention, case management, and group therapy; outreach and educational programs will be provided as needed
· Experience and skills in brief therapy
· Experience and skills in crisis intervention
· Experience and skills in group therapy
· Experience and skills in mental health prevention and psycho-education for a college student audience
· Skills and experience working with a diverse population
