Research Assistant Position Available (Volunteer) NYC in Bariatric Surgery Study

Alexis Conason is looking for a Research Assistant to help with a study examining long-term psychological functioning pre and post weight loss surgery. Primary responsibilities will include assisting a psychologist analyze data and prepare manuscripts for publication. In addition, the assistant will also contact participants by phone. This is an unfunded study and therefore we are looking for a volunteer. Preference given to applicants with strong statistical skills and knowledge of SPSS. The study site is The New York Obesity Nutrition Research Center at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital but many responsibilities can be completed by distance. This is a wonderful opportunity for a doctoral student looking for a dissertation or any doctoral/post-doctoral/early career psychologists looking to deepen their research experience with opportunities available for publications.
