MFT Center Director Position – Seton Hill University

The Masters of Arts in Marriage and Family Program has a tenure-track 12-month Center Director position at the assistant professor level that will be available summer 2014. 

Responsibilities: Chief responsibilities include oversight of the daily operations of the Center for Family Therapy, including setting Center policy/procedures, processing all intakes, making all case assignments, ensuring Center scheduling and coverage, providing supervision to therapists, teaching six courses in the MFT program annually, developing and overseeing clinical practicum for MFT students, coordination of all practicum sites and supervisors, and managing issues that may develop related to Center services.

Qualifications: The Center Director must have a doctoral degree or be pursing said degree in MFT or a related field, be a LMFT or LMFT-eligible in Pennsylvania, and be an AAMFT Clinical Member and AAMFT Approved Supervisor or Supervisor-in-Training.

Successful candidates will have a commitment to systemic thinking, social justice, and self of the therapist/parallel process work.

Marriage and Family Therapy Program: The MFT program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE), and operates a Family Therapy Center off campus.  The Center serves as a valuable resource to the community and provides students with the opportunity to practice therapy and receive supervision from faculty in a setting that the program administers.
