Intern Responsibilities/Location: this is primarily a project and coordinator position in which the student will get broad exposure to the coaching industry along with the operations of a coaching supplier, coaches, and client management (this is not intended to be an executive coach role). Intern will report directly to Dr. Brian Underhill (founder/CEO) located in San Jose, CA. Intern may also meet face to face with the Chief Coaching Officer (CCO), Dr. Kimcee McAnally, located in Palos Verdes Estates. Both Brian and Kimcee are graduates from CSPP Los Angeles. Page 2 of this document shows some project examples from previous Interns. While this position may be limited while a student, past Interns have worked with us for 6 months and up to 3 years. One former Intern continues to work with CoachSource as an executive coach, engagement manager for key accounts, and Client Services Manager (new business development). We will provide training and orientation for responsibilities.
Location: work will primarily be done virtually, but may meet occasionally face to face with locally based CCO or possibly visit northern California for meetings. We have offices in Northern California, Southern California, and New Jersey.
Schedule / Rate: flexible, 10-20 hours per week average. Flexibility for busy school weeks, etc. Based on availability, we anticipate Intern could start mid-April or May. Hourly rate = $20 hour
Preferred Student Background: Intern will need to have strong writing and communication skills, conscientious about producing quality work products, and be able to work independently. Student should also have strong client-relationship skills (e.g., positive attitude, good phone communication). Work-experience a plus (coaching experience not required).
