International Association for Forensic Mental Health Conference Accepts Alliant Papers
Alliant International University faculty, students and alumni have recently had research papers accepted for presentation at the Annual Conference of the International Association for Forensic Mental Health (IAFMHS).
Doctoral Students Kori Ryan, Heather McMahon, and Samantha Story and Professor Robert A. Leark, Ph.D. will present “Jessness Inventory Revised TRIN & VRIN: Enhancing Juvenile Risk Assessment,” Robert A. Leark and Kori Ryan will present “Another Look at Females & Risk: Low Self-Control & Global Personality Factors on the 16PF,” and Kori Ryan, Robert A Leark, Heather McMahon and Doctoral Student Shelby Moeria will present “Objective Psychopathology Measures: Investigation of Overlapping Constructs in the JI-R and PPI-R.”
Robert A. Leark will also chair a symposium titled “International Issues in Competency to Stand Trial” with colleagues from Maastricht University.
The IAFMHS is an organization that focuses on clinical forensic psychiatry and psychology including family violence, administrative and legal issues within the field, training, education and research in forensic mental health. It was created with the goal to provide a forum to facilitate other international research and to give national research an international profile.
